Dr Ivan Lambov with Yannick Legre, Secretary General of OPERAS Research Infrastructure

The FOCUS project was represented at the OPERAS 2026 & SCIROS Conference, which brought together the OPERAS community in Warsaw to discuss the future of open scholarly communication in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH).

Dr Ivan Lambov, member of the FOCUS team, participated in the event and delivered a presentation titled "Strategic Approach to Integrating the Needs of the Research Ecosystem." His presentation highlighted the importance of aligning research infrastructures, scholarly communication services, and stakeholder needs to support a more open, sustainable, and inclusive research environment.

The conference provided an excellent opportunity for networking and strengthening collaborations within the European Open Science landscape.

These discussions explored opportunities for future collaboration, the advancement of Open Science practices, and the development of innovative approaches to scholarly communication.

The participation of the FOCUS project in OPERAS 2026 & SCIROS further reinforces its commitment to supporting the transformation of research ecosystems through openness, collaboration, and knowledge sharing at the European level.
